About Detectivemeters Roofing and How We Work

Get connected with a provider

What Detectivemeters Roofing Is

Detectivemeters Roofing is a referral service. We connect homeowners in the Wilmington area with independent local roofing providers. We do not install, repair or replace roofs. The provider you choose does that work, under their own terms.

Why This Service Exists

A new roof is one of the larger bills a homeowner faces. Many people do not know what drives the price or how to read a quote. Others do not know where to begin. Detectivemeters Roofing exists to shorten that first step and to keep the process calm and fair.

A roof also protects the home and its resale value. A rushed or vague job can cost more later. A well-planned one can help the house hold up through years of humid summers and freeze-thaw winters.

How Matching Works

You tell us a little about your roof and your town. We point you toward a provider in our network that serves your area. Then you talk with that provider directly. You can ask questions, request an estimate and weigh the answers at your own pace.

We suggest you talk to more than one provider if you can. Compare written quotes. Look at materials, tear-off, decking, flashing, cleanup and timelines.

What We Ask of Providers

Providers in the network are independent businesses. We ask them to be clear, honest and respectful with homeowners. That means:

  • Explaining the work in plain words
  • Putting the scope and price in writing
  • Answering questions about licensing and insurance
  • Treating your home with care

Check a provider's credentials yourself. Do not rely on a referral alone.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not perform roofing work.
  • We do not set provider prices.
  • We do not promise insurance outcomes. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy.
  • We do not pressure you to sign anything.

How the Service Is Paid For

Providers in the network may pay for the homeowner inquiries they receive. Homeowners are not asked to pay to be connected. Any agreement about the job and its price is between you and the provider.

Keep the Roof Working After the Job

The plan does not end when the last shingle is on. Maintain after install. Clear gutters, check flashing after big storms, watch attic ventilation and keep tree limbs trimmed back. Small habits protect the home and your investment.
